Great Wall

Great Wall is a James Beard Award winning short film about the opening of Sum Bar, a dim sum restaurant in Greenville, South Carolina, and the relationship between first-generation Americans and their immigrant parents:

The film follows Khailing Neoh, the owner of Sum Bar, as she opens the restaurant and navigates the challenges of opening a new restaurant in a competitive market. It also explores Neoh's relationship with her parents, who were forced to serve Americanized food in their Ohio restaurants.
